REALIZE Board Training - Special Events and Trainings Sessions

Enjoy an in-depth learning experience of nonprofit board governance with special events and pop-up training sessions. In addition to the foundational coursed offered in the Lunch & Learn Series and Individual Organization Training, special events and pop-up training sessions help build-on and deep dive the foundation governance principles. 

 

Nonprofit board members, senior staff, and those who plan to serve on a board are encouraged to attend.

Details

In keeping with guidelines and ordinances from the Federal, State, and Local Governments as well as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), special events and pop-up training sessions will be held via virtual engagement in order to maintain social distancing to help contain the COVID-19 virus.

    Objective: Participants will apply an ethics framework to evaluate real-world governance scenarios.
  • May 19, 2026, 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM

    Objective: Participants will cover the key elements of an effective board meeting, including how to create efficient agendas. They'll also explore the critical partnership between the Board Chair and Executive Director for facilitating smooth operations.
