LUNCH & LEARN SERIES
Learn critical responsibilities of nonprofit board service from local trainers in the nonprofit sector. The Lunch & Learn series curriculum offers one-hour courses focused on understanding board member roles and responsibilities, nonprofit board structures, fundraising fundamentals and financial due diligence.
Courses are led trainers who have expertise in the nonprofit sector using the BoardSource curriculum. BoardSource is the gold-standard leader in board leadership that supports, trains, and educates nonprofit leaders across the country and around the world.
Nonprofit board members, senior staff, and those who plan to serve on a board are encouraged to attend. Certificates are provided to attendees upon completion of the program.
UPCOMING LUNCH & LEARN TRAINING SESSIONS:
Details
Sessions start September 9, 2025, in-person, and are hosted at the Stanton Tower Auditorium at 100 N. Stanton. Courses take place every other Tuesday during each series.
Each course is from 11:30am - 1pm.
Registration
$25 a course per participant.

COURSE 1: ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF INDIVIDUAL BOARD MEMBERS
This lesson will help increase understanding of the duties, responsibilities and expectations of individual board members.
